Help Unlock the Outdoors for Georgia Girls. Today is our Day of Giving and I Need YOUR Help

This week I've been on tours of the 1,200+ acres of amazing campsites, visiting Camp Meriwether, Camp Misty Mountain, and Camp Timber Ridge. ?It’s been exciting to see girls enjoying their summer at our beautiful Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta camp properties.

I was reminded that Girl Scouts are forces of nature and they’re meant for outdoor adventures.

I witnessed girls of every ability and background coming together to form lifelong friendships, cheer each other on as they tried new things, support each other to get back up when they fell, and create unforgettable memories, all in the great outdoors!

Today, I’m asking for your help to keep this energy alive. You can be the key to unlocking the outdoors for more Georgia girls. By participating in our Day of Giving, you can deliver more opportunities for local girls to explore the outdoors through Girl Scouting.

Every outdoor adventure grows a Girl Scout’s “I’ve got this” attitude. And once they unlock that confidence, they’ll aim as high as the stars they see outside their cabin window.

Here is what your donation can do:

• $25 provides a girl with a Girl Scout membership to get her outdoors.
• $50 gives a girl access to confidence-building outdoor programs.
• $100 provides supplies for a troop to earn one of 55 outdoor badges.
• $250 funds outdoor adventure programs, like the ropes course, for a cabin of Girl Scouts.
• $400 sends a Girl Scout to day camp for a week to experience hiking, canoeing, crafts, and STEM at our Camp Timber Ridge property.
• $1,000 allows a Girl Scout to have an immersive experience in the great outdoors through one week of overnight camp where she will have experiences from stargazing to trailblazing.
