Help Those Who Need Your Help (Part 2)

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." John 10:27 NKJV

To know someone is to be aware of everything about that person, so much that you can almost accurately predict their actions and reactions in specific situations. You know their beliefs,?worldview, values, etc.

We often attract who we are and not whom we want. This is why the saying, "birds of a feather flock together" is true. When you attract people into your space, you attract others with similar characteristics. They may not necessarily be like you totally, but there's usually a similarity, no matter how small.

When sharing your message with those who care to listen, people with different fragments of yourself begin to follow. Jesus Christ had His message to share, but you'll see His outspoken nature in Peter and love in John. As He got closer to his disciples, He not only knew their strengths but also their vices, like in the case of Judas.

To help those who need your help, VULNERABILITY has its purpose. You can't successfully hide from people who are like you. Jesus was more vulnerable with his disciples than those in the general public.

Sharing your beliefs, values and other aspects of yourself that you'd otherwise keep secret gives the receivers (sheep) something to adopt. The more they adopt, the more they become like you.

The more they become like you, the more you know them, can identify them and can almost predict their actions and reactions.

So when you share what God has placed in you to help others, those who choose to listen to your voice , identify with you and accept your vulnerabilities because of the similarities are the ones who decide to come closer. Everyone else stays as members of the general public.

You must become the best version of yourself to attract the best people.
