We’re excited to share that Tek Pak’s Carrier Tape has been nominated in the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association’s (IMA) annual “Makers Madness” contest, an online contest highlighting amazing manufacturers and the fantastic products made throughout the State of Illinois. Now in its fourth year, this bracket-style tournament will let the public decide what product earns the 2023 title of The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois!

Tek Pak’s Carrier Tape is used in a wide variety of industry applications for a number of diverse projects that improve peoples’ lives every day. Our team works hard each and every day in the development and manufacturing of our Carrier Tape line, and while we know how important this product is for our customers and the diverse projects they are executing across the globe, much of the general public is unaware of how Carrier Tape improves peoples’ lives every day.?

More than 250 unique products from every corner of the state were nominated for this year’s contest, and we need your help in getting Carrier Tape through to the next round.

Voting throughout the contest will take place at https://makersmadnessil.com/cast-your-vote/, where voters can now choose which products will advance to the Top 16. Voting in this round is open now and runs through 11:59 p.m. on March 5; participants can vote up to five times each day. Consecutive rounds of voting in head-to-head matchups will take place each week thereafter, culminating with an awards ceremony on March 29, when The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois will be named.
