HELP FOR SINGLE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES (SRP'S)*

My longtime friend, James L. Ross, an excellent real estate attorney in Orange County, CA, told me today he retired last May. I wished him good luck and good health in his retirement.

When I passed the California Bar Examination and was licensed to practiced law in California, I was hired by the VA Office of District Counsel in Los Angeles, CA.

I was responsible for review of the organizational documentation for all new construction condominium projects submitted to the VA for approval in all of Southern California and Clark County, Nevada for 16 years.

My area of responsibility included projects from San Diego to Santa Barbara, all of Los Angeles and Orange Counties as well as the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino Counties). While performing my work, I developed friendships with many of the attorneys who represented new home builders throughout Southern California.

Jim Ross was one of those attorney's in Orange County. Unfortunately, with the passage of time, many attorneys have retired and/or passed away. Since I left the VA in 1990, I have enjoyed working for new home builders and with their Single Responsible Party* who submit documentation to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE).

If you are an SRP where the attorney for the developer has recently retired and you have an ongoing "phased" development (either planned development or condominium project) in need of multiple White Reports or a single phase project already in process with the DRE, I am available to provide "seamless transition" with minimal costs and expense to your clients.

Please refer your clients to my office at 619.531.8858.

Thank you.
