The statement in the above photo was part of a presentation in the Communication session during of The Wheel Summit 2024 in Dublin this week. It highlighted a challenge for the many smaller charities trying to spread the word about the work that they do and the positive effect they have on people. It is those stories and testimonials that can have the greatest impact on donors and funders as they decide where their euros are going to be allocated.

Many charities need volunteers with the necessary skill sets to guide them in many areas including communications. If you have a skill set that could be helpful to a charity or other not for profit organisation consider volunteering with them.
