As the workforce continues to evolve, so do the challenges that organizations face in retaining top talent. One critical component that may influence whether employees stay or go is the relationship between managers and their teams.

Strong leadership is often the difference between a high-performing, loyal team and one that experiences high turnover.

But what truly makes a great manager?

How can 1:1 meetings between employees and managers impact engagement and retention?

These are the questions my latest research aims to answer.

As part of my doctoral research on employee-manager dynamics, I am conducting a pilot survey to explore how 1:1 meetings and the quality of relationships between managers and their teams influence employee turnover.
