My name is Dr. Papa Dia, my team and I are fundraising for Pape Massaer Mboup.

Pape Massaer Mboup, a bright young Senegalese man from the town of Thies with dreams and aspirations to go to college; however, he was forced to abandon school.

Coming from a poor family, his father is retired from the military, and his mother is a stay-at-home mom. Pape has two brothers and two sisters who work very hard to pursue their education with a goal to support their parents.

Pape was diagnosed with Keratoconus, a vision disorder that caused him to lose his eyesight. After many examinations, it was determined that for him to regain his eyesight and continue to pursue his dreams and aspirations, he would need to have eye implants.
