Help navigate the "how to" for our future tech workers?

Optimisation through people - Executive Search / Capability Development
I have been presenting to IT graduates at WelTec for a few years and recently had the privilege to do so again. Every time I come away feeling uplifted by my interactions with and observations of the students and tutor.
Who do future tech workers have to talk and explore the "how to" with?
Despite how exciting it may seem to me for someone to be at the beginning of a journey, I get that it may seem daunting, challenging and hard to be embarking upon securing a first job or a job in a new industry for which you have just retrained.
I’ve realised many people training for a career in technology come from homes where they are the only person training in or with IT skills, the only person technically inclined and perhaps the only person interested in IT.
Who do future tech workers have to talk and explore the "how to" with?
As a Coach I explore and stimulate the "how to" with people? As a parent I work hard to deepen my understanding of my kids work, their study and their interests and hobbies. This helps me, as a way of supporting them, through issues and decisions that they need to make.
If you're working in technology, it would make a difference to our future tech workforce, if you would help them. Whether a chat about what is emerging in tech, support on how to present well, advice on what skills to develop next, or with an internship, fixed term or voluntary employment to gain experience.
Please consider if you can help make the challenges easier for someone. You may have thought you'd like to do community or voluntary work – whilst small this might just be the bite size contribution you can make now and it may lead to bigger ways of helping others.
Helping is hugely rewarding!
