Help me help kids!

I am planning to run the Boston Marathon this year as a method to raise money for charity. Today, my son Patrick and I went to volunteer and see first had the amazing work this non-profit is doing in the world.
Founded in 2002, Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.
Patrick and I sorted donated clothing that will end up in “kidpack” care packages all morning. These “kidpacks” are custom designed for each kid based on input from social workers and community caregivers. In the end we and our fellow volunteers prepared more than 2000 items to help kids in need. Even with the organization delivering more than 100,000 packages a year, they estimate only serving about 1/3rd of the needs of the community. Watch this video to see exactly what they do. https://youtu.be/H9gKB53qiu4
While the community is generous, the need for basic supplies that need to be purchased, (diapers, wipes, notebooks, pens/pencils, backpacks, etc) is significant. To help I am raising $10,000 or more to get these basic supplies to over 300 kids. Please consider donating to my fundraiser here. As a special enticement, whatever you donate I will match $ for $, either to this charity or one of your choice. Just let me know which you prefer and I will match immediately up to the $10,000 goal.
