NDIS trials new payment models to improve participant support
31 providers will co-design "blended payment options". The project aims to ensure participants receive high-quality supports that focus on achieving participant goals.
?
The blended payments trial will test different ways providers can be paid, and will involve combining two types of payment. The first is an enrollment payment, where providers are paid for providing supports over a period of time and the second is an outcome-based payment where a provider is paid when a participant’s goal is achieved.?

The Australian Government is ensuring the NDIS is fairer, easier to navigate and person-centred with fresh investments in planning for all participants and commencing design work towards a new early intervention pathway for children under 9.?
