Help Don Pedrito - Life of Dignity and Purpose - Giving the Right Way

We are all the same, period. Meet Pedrito. We call him Don Pedrito.

Don Pedrito is an elderly man in Trujillo, Honduras. He doesn't have any family or a place to call home. He roams around the village picking up plastic and aluminum cans for recycling. He barely makes due every day.

We are all the same in that we want to feel part of something. Feel loved and cared for. Have a purpose! In this thing called life, it is challenging. We all struggle everyday in our own way. The beauty in the similar struggle we share is that we can empathize. We know how difficult it can be in our daily struggles.

We are all the same in that we want to help others. I can't explain it, but I truly believe we all have an inherent desire to help one another. Why would we have empathy then?

My brother Charlie Biondolillo, our non profit partner Kinship United, and I would like to help Don Pedrito. We'd like to provide him a home and help him live a purposeful life. Don Pedrito likes to tend animals to keep himself busy. Our hope is to provide him with a home and some animals to tend so that he can feel purposeful in the remaining years of his life.

We've already secured an abandoned house. New windows, doors, and some minor plumbing are all that's needed. $2,500.00 is the estimated cost. Don Pedrito has already started cleaning up around his future home with his hands and trusty machete.

We are all the same, period. Our circumstances maybe different and perhaps the root of our economic differences, but deep down...we are all the same, period. Please help if your heart is willing.
