Helmholtz Imaging Conference 2023 Recap

Let’s take a look back at our Helmholtz Imaging Conference 2023!

Last week, we hosted our?3rd Annual Helmholtz Imaging Conference in Hamburg, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who made the three-day event in Hamburg an exciting and memorable experience. Participants from various backgrounds came together for engaging talks, thought-provoking unconference sessions, and the sharing of research and ideas among peers.

On the?1st day,?jointly organized with Helmholtz AI , everyone gathered at the Kuppel in Hamburg. An inspiring venue for an inspiring program! The day commenced with captivating presentations, followed by?two distinct parts. Participants had the option to choose between attending a well-curated?session featuring insightful talks?or joining our?first-ever unconference, where they played an active role in driving discussions. This new and exciting format was further accentuated by the incredible venues chosen for the working groups, with participants gathering in unique settings such as a saloon, in close proximity to a carousel, a beach bar, and even an Autoscooter.

At DESY on the 2nd and 3rd days, we were privileged to have a?remarkable lineup of speakers?who delivered captivating presentations on topics related to image analysis, visualization of research data, and modern reconstruction methods in imaging. Alongside the talks, our participants engaged in a?poster session, where they presented their research and exchanged ideas.
