HelloWorld -- your weekly tech recruiter update from Nick Nowakowski [Kforce]

C:\desktop\HelloWorld.exe,

I hope your weekend is off to a great start – it’s a “cooler” one today with current temps putting us at 73F, but no complaints here! Back in my hometown they are below freezing, yikes! Sometimes I miss the life in Wisconsin, but then I remember the quality of life we have here in South Florida and snap out of that daydream. I probably mentioned that last week.. clearly not over it lol :}

I'm on LinkedIn!

Referral Contest UPDATE: The $10 Starbucks Digital Gift Card is still up for grabs! Last week I received 7 official referral through my link by 2/2/20 11:59PM EST cut off, a bit short from my double down target of 20 referrals. This week I’m changing the rules: The #10 referral to come through my inbox via my referral link (thank you workllama), also here: https://kforce.workllama.com/atsuser/referral/referfriendPage?companyCode=KFORCE&referralCode=Sk1NAV will receive the $10 gift card prize! I’m not going to put a contest end time/date this week, as I’m looking forward to celebrating the winner on next Saturday’s Newsletter! That's almost two free drinks :D !

This is what the page looks like when you click the refer a friend link!

https://kforce.workllama.com/atsuser/referral/referfriendPage?companyCode=KFORCE&referralCode=Sk1NAV

This is what you once you click the workllama link shown above! Once you send in your referral through these fields, you do not have to do anything else!

When you press Submit, I receive your information, and your referral’s information you have included here!

Simple =^)

Lets piece that puzzle together!

Lets jump into the weekly newsletter update – this time around, I’m going to show you some events you can attend for Sunday Funday! We hope to see you tomorrow at Kforce hosted and sponsored STEM FAIR at YMCA Weston, FL.

Also notice I’m looking for up and coming talent with 1-2 years of experience in java development and agile product development.

Know anyone focused on Process Improvement with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt?

If you made it this far – THANK YOU for the support, we are almost done! I’m going to end on a high note, something I am very proud along with my team here in South Florida.

You see, I’m used to playing on teams that compete at a high level, who bring a competitive drive like none other, who know how to call audibles at any given moment, who can pivot in process or strategy as needed.

I landed at Kforce a year and a half ago when I moved from Wisconsin. I knew joining up with this team was going to be something special between the culture they created before me + the state of the tech industry here in South Florida growing year over year.

This past week, our Kforce South Florida team (Miami and Sunrise office combined) unlocked two 2019 achievements: #1 Q4 Large Team and Large Team of the Year and Overall Team of the Year.

Kye Mitchell, our Chief Operations Officer surprised us onsite to congratulate our team live on air during a company-wide video conference where all offices were tuned in at the same time. I’m lucky to have landed here.
