How have you been? Well I have been doing well as a LOUD introvert online.

Yeah you heard me right, when you meet me in person don't be surprised to see me shy. Don't let my loudness here deceive you.

Networking can be challenging for those of us who are introverts, here are strategies that can help us excel in this loud world:

1. Leverage Online Platforms: Introverts might find it easier to connect online. Use LinkedIn, Twitter, or other professional platforms to engage with people. You can start conversations, share insights, and build relationships without the pressure of face-to-face interactions.
2. Practice Small Talk: While introverts may dislike small talk, it’s a necessary part of networking. Practice a few icebreakers or conversation starters to ease into interactions. Don't be afraid to slide into people's DMs, trust me you will be amazed how many people you will build a relationship with. Remember, small talk doesn’t have to be shallow; it can lead to deeper discussions.
3. Follow Up: After meeting someone whether online or offline, send a personalized follow-up email. Mention something specific from your conversation to show that you were paying attention. This helps solidify the connection.
