At bld.ai we have been quietly building our business through word of mouth and are now excited to increase our engagement with a larger audience via additional marketing channels. Through this newsletter we hope to:

• Tell you more about bld.ai and the problem we are solving
• Share with you examples of work
• Inform you of upcoming features
• Provide a medium to hear from you

Bld.ai connects knowledge workers with those who need their services

Peter Drucker was a thought leader who is credited with coining the term “knowledge worker”. He used the term to describe an individual who, “...applies vision, knowledge and concepts - work that is based on the mind rather than the hand.” Today, there are billions of knowledge workers in the world and millions of companies who need their services.?

The problem that bld.ai is solving is seamlessly connecting knowledge workers with those that need their services and providing the infrastructure (e.g., invoicing, payments, legal, etc.) they need to focus on the work they do best. We provide these services through our platform Flow.?

Our Partner Companies co-create with our clients and bring their ideas to life

Flow is a two sided platform. On one side we have dev shops, design studios, consultancy service providers, and expert freelancers. We call these entities Partner Companies. Our Partner Companies use Flow to provide their services to our clients. Partner Companies serve clients in two fundamental ways:

• Thought leadership: We work hand-in-hand with you to co-create innovative solutions that provide differentiated customer value. All Intellectual Property (IP) we create together is yours, providing you full control over the feature roadmap and your go to market strategy.
• Delivery: Flow provides quick access to a global network of skilled consulting, product management, data science, software development, UX/UI design, illustration, and technical support specialists.

Through our platform Flow, bld.ai minimizes costs, facilitates collaboration, and reduces delivery risk

We want to bring smart people together to solve complex problems for our clients while reducing delivery risk. Flow allows us to do that by:

• Optimizing cost: Bld.ai is a marketplace that allows our clients to choose the right team for them balancing cost, capabilities, and business preference (e.g., timezone). Clients are billed only for time and material and can scale their teams up and down as needed. Our goal is to be “last to market” in the sense that we want to reduce our overhead and margin to minimize client costs and maximize revenues for our Partner Companies.?
• Creating network effects: Complex problems are best solved by teams. Bdl.ai’s legal framework and Flow allows us to quickly combine freelancers and employees from multiple Partner Companies to assemble high quality teams quickly.?
• Ensuring quality delivery: Each client is assigned a client manager who is responsible for project delivery success. As part of their toolkit they utilize independent auditors to complete Quality Assurance Audits (QAA) to assess team performance (e.g., cybersecurity, coding standards, etc). All audits are shared monthly with the client.?
