It’s been some time since that initial excitement—so you might be wondering, what's been happening since?

This newsletter is long overdue. Over the years, we've engaged with many of you who share our commitment to improving housing in Montana. The conversations, shared aspirations—they matter.

That's why reconnecting through this newsletter is meaningful. Dvele’s mission goes beyond supplying homes; we're part of a larger vision to fundamentally enhance the way we live. Some may think it’s as simple as building a facility—put up walls, hire the team, and we’re off to the races. Capitalizing the facility? Sure, it’s a monumental objective. But it’s just the starting line. It’s not just about putting up a factory; it’s about reshaping the landscape around it.

The real investment lies in the commitments and upfront resources that will create a thriving ecosystem. Unintended consequences surround the endeavor: pressure on local housing, competition for scarce resources, and the need for new solutions to old problems. It's also about balance and ecology—We can’t empower our community at the expense of neighboring communities. This means investing upfront in infrastructure where the greater workforce community can live affordably, work meaningfully, and grow.

This task is complex, interwoven, and part of a bigger ecology.
