Hello (VUCA) world
Bear with me now, I also believe that crises are tremendous opportunities, but not for what most of you probably think. For the record, I am writing this in June 2020, when we have one of the toughest, longest, deepest, and most complex crisis in the modern era. The crisis is not an opportunity to make more money, more business, and a bigger, better, faster version of ourselves. These are just consequences of applying our unique and genuine talent to transform the environment and the world around us to be more gentile, less hostile, fairer, less unequal, more human, less soulless.
Corona just turns the world upside down in 3 months. Let′s say that it stressed our mistakes and put them under the spotlight. Just imagine what can do in the next 6 months. I want to contribute, I want to help, I want to fix everything, I want to fix the world, I want to inspire people, I want to see everybody happy. Like a kid watching for the first time parents arguing.
What if I could do something? What if I could contribute to the world? Thinking like a kid, limitless, fearless, unbound. It is the quintessence of innovation. Something was written in our DNA for millions of years since we created our first tool. Innovation is nothing more than finding new ways to solve problems asking questions in a limitless, fearless, and unbound way and the most representative of all of them is "what if?".
But how? News just come and go, just like regular content but stories transcend. In this particular moment of history when we are supposed to live meaningfully and mindfully in a multitasking way, spending more time looking at screens than we do look at people′s faces when something that happened 2 weeks ago is considered old, stories are our best anchor point. Cultural, social or personal stories are the best vehicle to transmit a powerful message.
What if I find and share powerful and inspiring stories worth to be shared? What if these stories can be the spark for someone to start thinking differently? What if these stories simply make you enjoy them? What if we challenge everything to learn something from very different people, coming from different angles, experiences, and perspectives?
I proudly introduce “What if?”, a series of inspiring stories of remarkable people so distant to each other that their only common point is to think limitless, fearless, and unbound. 6 persons, 6 stories, 1 story on the last Friday of every month.
