Hello Varicent and Thank you IBM

Today after nearly five years at IBM, I transferred to Varicent Software to join Marc Altshuler and other former founders on what promises to be an exciting journey for me personally, my team, our customers, our prospects and all those watching.

Throughout the day we have been updating technology systems, providing prospects and clients our new contact details and getting ready for the journey ahead. Just before joining the "Varicent Welcome Meeting", I took a moment and stopped to reflect.

Whilst I am excited to be joining Varicent, I will always remember and be thankful to some of the colleagues and mentors I gained whilst at IBM. All the account teams in UK, Germany, France, CEE, Spain and the Nordics. All the individuals who have helped me learn about the culture, the nuances of working in sometimes challenging situations, including those who over the last eight weeks. Despite one of the biggest global pandemics we have had to faced, certainly in my life time, they have helped us transfer to Varicent with new customers to show for our time together. I want to thank you all.

Now, why am I so excited about the new journey Varicent? I remember when this move was announced back in October 2019, I had the chance to speak with Marc about the plans, his view of the industry and the vision for the product. I came off the call thinking this is going to be great! The product will get what we need to make sure we stay a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and the vision needed to change the SPM domain. Our customers benefit from the investments made in so many other areas of the business which are not technology focused. Having taken part in the Varicent Town Hall last night and the Wave 2 welcome meeting today, I can openly say that the work already completed in the first 90 days has been phenomenal. Customers will benefit hugely from this and the culture that has developed within the organisation bodes well for the current team and those who will be joining soon.
