We at Decision Point had fun and celebrated 2023 with our families and friends. However, I was on bed rest! All thanks to the changing weather! ???

To take things (I mean, parties) more seriously, the Chennai office continues with their party plans in the middle of the cyclone. Wooo! The DP folks got no chill!??

Welcome to our latest insider scoop section, where we talk about what happens behind the scenes in Decision Point. After a lot of digging, I just got some juicy news from the Gurgaon & LATAM office. I must say I know how to dig into the lives of the rich and famous.?? So, coming back to the gossip! Two of our team members are getting married in February and June, which calls for a double celebration!?

And meanwhile, in the LATAM office. My confidential sources got the news that one of my colleagues is 4 months pregnant. Soon, we will welcome our new member.??

Everyone in the office knows how much I love my pets. But my cat doesn’t love me back. He often slaps and scratches me during meetings. That hurts! ?? To my (and everyone’s) surprise, I have recently noticed that my cat has started showing some love for me. Maybe, he has realized that he will not get anything to eat if he doesn’t love me back.????

So, apart from the gossip sessions, I and my team are putting a lot of effort into fostering connections and relationships. Recently, we organized a Cultural Event where employees from the Gurgaon, Chennai, and LATAM participated in the event that consisted of quizzes covering a range of questions about Indian Festivals. It was a fantastic event. The atmosphere was collaborative, fostering a sense of unity and understanding among employees.

I needed a break from my monotonous routine and travelled to Nainital for a workcation. I was born and brought up in a hill station and so I love working amid the beauty of nature and with that, I would like to draw your attention to Share Your Location. We Inspire, Learn, and Grow Together?

Also, in January we started the Training Hour – An Open Discussion Forum for our employees. It primarily focuses on the importance of training sessions and what benefits our employees will get by attending the sessions.?

Through our Talent LMS, our employees have the opportunity to upgrade their skills and knowledge by taking various training sessions based on their requirements. We have comprehensive training sessions on Data Science, Software Development, Data Engineering, Consulting, Product Training, Soft Skills, etc. These include Switching Matrix techniques for Aggregated Data, Mathematics Behind AI, Basics of ML and Python, Web Servers, CI CD Training and more. In this way, our employees will gain knowledge in a variety of fields.?

Back to The Office!?

I am thrilled to have my colleagues back in our office. It is a great opportunity for us to make new friends (outside the office also) and obviously, meet the existing ones. Moving towards a hybrid work culture, we can choose to come to the office either twice or thrice a week (depending on our mood ??).?

The closing to the first month of the year was awe-inspiring and many people made the headlines at DP’s Red Carpet. Also, this month we’re celebrating the 11th birthday of Decision Point but more on that in the next newsletter.?
