In 2025, within the first quarter, we will be launching a new version of Proteus case management, Proteus 4 or P4 as like we call it. Not to give it all away just yet, but there will be significant enhancements increasing efficiency for the advisers, and several new additions making client-side much more user friendly and visually appealing. We have been working on this project for 18 months, and we are excited to be bringing you this new way of communicating with your solicitor.? ? ? OPG Delays ?

The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) usually takes 8 to 10 weeks to process and register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) application. However, the process has been delayed since Covid times, and currently, the waiting times have dropped from approximately 20 weeks to 16 weeks, so they say.?

If you are looking to get your Lasting Power of Attorneys done for your health and finances, or for your business. Please note that sooner is better than later due to the lengthy processing period.??
