Hello, My Name is Advocate

President at We Care Advocates / Halo Health International / Medical Media Solutions
People often ask what patient advocacy is and why is it so important? The answer is both complex and simple. Complex because it often entails understanding the medical and insurance world and that world is ever-changing. Simple because we understand that world.
Here at We Care Patient Advocates, we understand that you have a family, a job, and responsibilities, that keep you busy every minute of every day. Now add to that mix someone in your family has a medical issue and you are the “go-to” person for that. You help as much as you can, but you may have to navigate appointments, insurance, therapy and treatment. It can be very overwhelming, daunting even. Well it helps to have an advocate be on your side to determine what you want and how to make sure that people know what you want. It is about you as We Care Patient Advocates work for you, not the health system or the insurance company. Whether we help with making sure you understand your medication, how to take it and to make sure there are no interactions, to medical bill reconciliation. We take the time to review the EOB’s with you to make sure you understand the charges and if they match the services you received.
We Care Patient Advocates are there when you need us. We give you the peace of mind you deserve. Everyone needs someone in their corner to be on their side – everyone needs an advocate.
