Bank Holiday Information

To mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III on Saturday 6th May 2023, there will be an additional one-off bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023. This bank holiday will take effect across the United Kingdom.?

As was the case for previous additional bank holidays to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee on 3 June 2022 and the funeral of the Queen last year, as an employer you will need to consider how you will treat this additional bank holiday for your staff.

You should communicate to your staff in advance your arrangements for the additional bank holiday on Monday 8 May. You can access letter templates regarding the additional bank holiday for the King’s Coronation on the the FSB Legal Hub.

VTA are sponsoring the Manchester Remembers Charity Football Match! ??

We are honored to be a sponsor for this event & support such a good cause.

On Sunday 7th May, a special charity match will take place between footballing legends and celebrities to remember the victims of the Manchester Arena attack.

All the money raised from the ‘Manchester Remembers’ game will go to support five charities set up in the aftermath of the 2017 attack; Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust, Liv’s Trust, The Megan Hurley Foundation, The Remembering Nell Foundation and Eilidh's Trust.
