News alert! We've opened an office in Lisbon. Yes, you read that right!

We've kept it a secret for a while until it was up and running, but it's a secret no more.

Last year, our Founder and Creative Director Stuart Reeves saw an opportunity to expand and place our team closer to existing and prospective European clients. As he explains...

"We've always talked about having a foot in Europe. Lisbon is the ideal strategic location for Seveer, allowing us to provide genuinely local support and expand the way we think and operate."

The office is located in Sacavém, to the east of the historic city. It is fronted by Project Manager Carolina Louren?o, who oversees production across projects in both the UK and Portugal.

If you’re visiting the city, you can pop by and Carolina will take you out for a Portuguese coffee and a delicious Pastel de Nata.

Behind the scenes with Lazenby

Earlier this year we started a new project with the incredible team at Lazenby. We installed 3 timelapse cameras at their brand new premises to capture every moment of their showroom refurbishment and products installation. From the very start to the grand opening, we ensured every detail was captured.

Our production team was on the ground to install the cameras, and film some b-roll thereafter, and couldn't escape getting caught in the action!

For all the tech enthusiasts out there, here are some juicy details: a 4K snap was taken every 10 minutes by each camera. That's 6 pictures every hour, and 63 pictures every day – times 3! In the end, we will have an image bank close to 7K pictures.

The best part? All images are automatically uploaded to an online portal, allowing us to monitor the progress remotely with ease – and ask the Lazenby team onsite to adjust the angle if they had been moved by mistake.
