Some of you may remember that a while back I posted here asking for your help for a book I'm currently writing about annual performance reviews. Over 100 of you responded and your feedback provided great data for the project. Well, I'm back again with another request. A few weeks back, I saw a post from one of my contacts (a CHRO for her company) detailing the progress and response her company has had since they scrapped their annual review process for something more timely and value-added. I reached out to her and asked is she would be willing to let me call and interview her about her experience with the new process and how things are going now. She was and she shared a fantastic hour together with me where I learned a lot - Thank You, Shawn!!!
The time was so valuable that I thought I would reach out to you all (Ya'll as we say here in North Carolina) to see if I could repeat the experience so here's my plea for help:
- If you are a CHRO, HRVP, or other HR professional whose company has taken the plunge by removing and replacing the annual performance review for something more current and timely and would be willing to speak with me about your company's experience, I would love for you to reply here or message me so that we can connect for a brief conversation about what you've done and how it's going.
- If you're not an HR professional but your company has made the move away from annual performance reviews, I would love to hear your perspective as well. I have a pretty good handle on the HR viewpoint but would love to hear yours. Again, message me or reply here to let me know you're willing to chat.
