Hello and Happy 2024!

Dear TuneCore Artists,

I want to thank you for continuing to inspire us with your music throughout the past year and for trusting TuneCore as your partner to build your career as an independent artist to the next level. Being an independent isn’t always easy and that’s why we’ve prioritized everything we do at TuneCore to be focused on what will fuel your growth and centered around three goals: to help you make better music, become better known and make your life easier.

I have so much that I’m excited to share with you in 2024, but first, let’s reflect on some of what the TuneCore community has achieved on behalf of our artists this past year.

This year, TuneCore introduced Splits and Priority Payouts to foster collaboration between artists, while offering streamlined payment solutions. In April, we partnered with Beatport to give our electronic artists access to the world’s largest electronic music streaming and download platform and added 33 different electronic music genres and subgenres including House, Trance, UK Garage / Bassline & more. We also partnered with Grimes’ elf.tech in a first of its kind program to allow independent distribution of official Grimes-AI-music, while defining our four pillars for responsible use of AI in the music industry: consent, control, compensation, and transparency.

Looking ahead to what’s in store for 2024, we want all TuneCore artists to have access to as many resources for success as possible and that’s what inspired the launch of our groundbreaking program, TuneCore Accelerator. TuneCore Accelerator leverages an arsenal of industry-leading services powered by our promotional teams, marketing programs, and innovative products, all designed with one simple objective: to drive discovery of your music, build your audience, and promote deeper fan engagement.

With this in mind, I want to extend a special invitation to attend our very first "TuneCore TUNED IN" on January 18th, 11AM EST, a new annual meeting exclusively for TuneCore members like you, where I'll be sharing more about exciting programs like TuneCore Accelerator and a preview into what we have planned ahead in 2024. In closing I would like to express how proud and inspired I am by all of you - you continue to make more music and reach larger and more global audiences each year. In 2023, TuneCore artists collectively amassed more than 170 billion streams across 252 countries globally. I put together a personal playlist “Andreea’s 2023 TuneCore Playlist”, highlighting a few of the incredible independent creators whose music soundtracked my year, inspired our team, and many of whom I had the pleasure of meeting in person at TuneCore events around the world.
