Hello from Sunny Spain!

Time for something a little different today. No fintech deep dives, no industry rants, just a quick hello from Spain where I’m enjoying some much-needed vacation time with family.

The sun is shining, the food is fantastic, and the pace of life here is just what I needed after a packed start to 2025. It’s nice to step away from the digital world for a bit (though let’s be honest, I’m still keeping an eye on fintech news… old habits die hard).

That said, we did have one small banking episode during our trip, because what’s a vacation without a little drama? My girlfriend lost her wallet, which is never fun, especially when traveling. But a big shoutout to Danske Bank , who were quick to respond and support in sorting things out. It’s in these moments that customer service really matters, and having a bank that reacts fast makes all the difference.

Now, back to relaxing, tapas, and maybe a glass (or two) of sangria.
