Hello and Happy New Year!

I hope that you had a lovely break over Christmas!

In the rush to wrap up 2024 and enjoy the holidays, many of us don't take the time to stop and reflect on our achievements.

I've shared some of ours below but I would love to hear yours! Either in the comments or send me a DM! Sharing our successes doesn't need to be bragging. It can be inspirational to others!

The Lodge, by HB 2024

2024 saw a new look to our in-house legal community and I'll be sharing what's new at The Lodge for 2025 in the next edition.

For now, thank you to everyone who participated in the community in 2024! Here are some of my highlights:

• 1053 in-house lawyers registered to attend our events!
• We grew our Community Chat Channels by 732 members!
• We raised ￡21,000 at the Charity Burns Night and ￡1748 for The London Legal Walk!
• We launched the Dutch Chapter of our community with a fabulous Summer Borrel!

Some Personal Highlights

• I was named as one of 14 legal professionals recognised on the 2025 O List!
• A first time guest on a Podcast!
• Moderated my first in-person panel event and presented solo for the first time too!
• Although always loving LinkedIn, I started to post more frequently and engage more with the community online. It's not influencer status but that content was viewed 702,242 times!

Announcement!

For the last three years, we've supported The Beam Foundation as our Charity Partner and raised ￡56,437 that helped to change the lives of 415 people!

New for 2025, we'll be partnering with The 93% Club to support The Social Mobility Factory, which has provided their members with invaluable experiences and tools to succeed professionally. Their goal is to offer every attendee the chance to leave the event with a professional headshot, experience of mock interviews, a polished CV, knowledge of career industries, and build influential connections.
