On the 18th of July, in Google for Startups Campus Warsaw, we launched the 12th edition of Huge Thing Pre-acceleration Program that for the 4th time we run in partnership with Google for Startups. We’ve selected 20 final startups from over 250 applications. The diversity of the ideas in this edition has positively surprised us, just like the creativity of the solutions. During 3 months of the program, the founders will verify their MVP and get ready to acquire the first investors. All the startups are based in the CEE region, where the startups’ ecosystem is rapidly growing.?
“Central and Eastern Europe is home to an immensely innovative and rapidly expanding startup ecosystem. Over the last decade, the number of startups has grown steadily, and the overall investment value increased 19-fold since 2010, to over €186B, drawing from the region’s huge talent pool and accelerated by an increasing amount of foreign investments that are currently at a record high” - says Micha? Kramarz, Head of Google for Startups, Central Europe.
