HELLASCO’s Conference 2019: The future is now...

The 2019 Conference of the Hellenic Association of Consulting Firms (HELLASCO) "The Consulting Industry Facing New Markets, requirements and Instruments" has been held with great success at the Athens Hilton Hotel between 26 and 27 September 2019.

The conference, which was attended by more than 280 delegates, was outstanding both in terms of the interesting subject matters presented and discussed and the very highly qualified invited speakers from Greece and abroad.

Delivering the general conclusion of the conference, the President of HELLASCO, Mr. Constantinos Kalergis, stated: "It is imperative -here and now- for the Greek businesses, the political leadership and the public administration to "turn the page" and "run", in order to recover the consulting engineering sector, to make a significant contribution to the development of the country, but also to converge with other European countries which are far ahead and continue to adapt rapidly to global political, geopolitical, economic, environmental and technological developments. It is also imperative, now, to leave behind failed policies and practices and work together to protect and promote healthy entrepreneurship and grow businesses with modern organisation and infrastructure, with real opportunities to provide quality and competitive consulting services in Greece and abroad, with responsibility and respect for society, the environment and future generations. As FIDIC CEO Dr Nelson Ogunshakin OBE said, "The future is now ...".
