Hi there, I am Val Milkov, a successful Sr. Project Manager at Perform IT for the world’s #1 APM solution, AppDynamics, I have many awards for innovative projects from Google, TNW, Alibaba Cloud and International Olympic Committee. I have also earned an award for outstanding delivery of the first World Cup in Swimming in Bulgaria. I was an US Open Champion and a World Record Holder in Swimming.?I am a father of 12- and 2-years old daughters as the first one is already a leading actress in Hollywood productions.

I have achieved many of my life-time goals, but one still lingers. My family is passionate about history. My father Hristo Milkov is a popular fiction writer. My mother, Dobrinka inspired me in Archeology. ?She told me that once I get my diploma form Indiana University, Bloomington, she would reveal to me clues of finding the immortality elixir in Strandza mountain. Unfortunately, in January 2005, a few weeks before my graduation, my mother passed away in a tragic accident in front of Varna Museum. A father was running late to drive his daughter to school. His SUV ran over my mother while she was on the crosswalk.

Since that incident I left behind archeology until several months ago when inspired by my ?wife Lida Milkova and friends decided to donate some of our free time to deliver for free an Augmented Reality adventure to Varna Museum where is the oldest processed gold in the world so far.

“The Lord of Gold” – A Complex and Emotional Story

The museum in Varna, Bulgaria was once an all-girls high school (1893 – 1983). Some obscure forces are at play, disturbing the museum spaces. The ghost of Dobi is supporting users in a beyond reality adventure. She has dedicated her life in seeking the immortality elixir. Unfortunately, a tragic incident let her continue her quest in the afterlife.

Visualization:

I am lucky enough to be friends and collaborators with two greatest visualization artist in the business Krasimir Vodenicharski and Ida Stoycheva. I am not allowed to dislclose any information about their achievements but I can share that one of them was part of an Oscar winning team for visualization.?

“The Lord of Gold” has some very unique characters, and the user can dive in elaborate fantasies that could change due to the game style of the user as a result of the latest technologies in Artificial Intelligence.

Technology:

I am extremely fortunate to have Victoria Radeva in our team. Her full-stack expertise allow us to create an innovative app using the latest technologies X-Reality continuum (Virtual reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality), Artificial ?Intelligence, Computer Vision, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning.

To achieve full-blown virtual reality and location-based adventures, we need a large budget. However, we want end users to be our supporters and our audience, so we can make beyond reality adventures for you with no compromises.

Our plan is to first make a short location-based demo adventure “The Lord of Gold” at the Varna Museum. ?When we release this first adventure, we expect you to be at the museum and play the adventure, so you can have enjoying interactive exploration and immersive historical experience in an unreal/fantasy world.
