Helix Co: The Story of Us

How do you help people whose lives have been flipped upside down when you don’t know where to start? How do you answer their questions when you need answer to questions of your own?

The answer to this question is complex, but from complex challenges a simple response was born: Helix.?

What is Helix and what sets it apart? To answer this, we would have to go back to the beginning of August 2017, when founder and CEO Ray Bertka responded to hurricane Harvey in Houston. Ray had the Catastrophic Response experience, but this was his first time responding to an event of this magnitude.?

National response teams and groups ran CAT response forums out of FaceBook pages. The information was difficult to find, and there was no clear answer on where to start and where to go. On top of that, resources were scarce; there were questions about where to get food, water, and fuel to get you through a project/job. Where are you supposed to send your team? Where do you get supplies?

The number one thing that sets Helix apart is that it was created with the contractor in mind and for the contractor. The people responsible for not only bringing back life to destroyed areas but also giving home and business owners peace of mind and reassurance that they are being taken care of.

As Helix grows and evolves, Helix bases our new features and modules on contractor and client feedback. We take contractor advice and set our goals high to create an all-in-one platform that can be picked up and understood within minutes. This helps us make our software an extension of the user, giving them an intuitive all-inclusive software to run their projects.

What is next for Helix? That is simple. Our goal is to be an affordable one-stop shop to run projects/jobs from start to stop without the need to use other software in the process.?
