A Brisbane District Court trial has begun over a 2017 plane crash on Middle Island, Queensland, where a Cessna 172N piloted by Leslie Ronald Woodall fatally crashed, killing one tourist and injuring three others. Yak 40 incident

A Yak-40 aircraft (RA-88215) of AeroBratsk Airlines, operating a flight from Bratsk to Olyokminsk in Russia's Sakha Republic, skidded 15 meters off the runway during landing due to low friction caused by weather conditions.
