So about 2 or 3 years ago, I started having ice skating lessons,?

They were only once a week group sessions and it was at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning for just 30 mins.?

Anyway, I was determined.

I've always wanted to be really good at ice skating,?

so I went for it,?

?

?

It took us about 10 mins to get used to being back on the ice each week which only gave me 20 mins to learn something new.?

?

?

I just didn't feel like I was progressing fast enough,?

?

After telling a friend of mine how excited I was about learning she decided to get some lessons too,?

?

?

But after a couple of months of group sessions, she said this will take forever I need some 1:1 help.?

?

?

She started sending me videos of her twirling and gliding across the ice at a really good speed,?

?

?

Yep, I was kicking myself, I wished I had saved the money from all those group sessions and just got the 1:1 help I needed.?

?

?

She said they spotted mistakes she was making instantly and fixed them straight away.?

?

?

How exciting!?

?

?

Now, this reminds me so much of what I do in business,

Graphic designers come to me for help every day,?

They've been struggling for years and no one has looked closely enough at what they are doing to spot the mistakes they are making.?

?

I can see straight away where people are going wrong and it's so amazing when they can often make quick changes and start seeing results.?
