In his address, Anurag Kashyap, Film maker and Actor, congratulated the recipients of the 24th NCPEDP-LTIMindtree Helen Keller Awards. He added, these awards play a crucial role in recognizing a significant segment of the disabled population often overlooked in the ecosystem.
Address by Guest of Honour - Ashutosh Chadha
The award ceremony was graced by Ashutosh Chadha, Director and Country Head Corporate Affairs & Public Policy, Microsoft India and South Asia. ?He emphasised that we need to create a world where every individual is valued. The rich and unique perspective of disabled persons fosters social and inclusive economic growth.
Keynote Address by by Farangis Choudhury
In her address, Farangis Choudhury, Head - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion LTIMindtree shared that ''The Disability is not just an individual experience or a negative condition, it is a social construct. Awardees we honour today are ambassadors of change, together let's build a nation where each individual lives a life of dignity!''
Welcome Address by Arman Ali
In his address, Arman Ali, Executive Director, NCPEDP shared that ''Shri Javed Abidi's vision, the Helen Keller Awards initiated 24 years ago, is gaining momentum. Despite spending $700 billion annually on technology, disabled individuals need targeted investment in disability sector to ensure their inclusion in the mainstream workforce.''
