UWT & MHWP Pilot Launch

We are proud to announce the launch of UMO’s University to Workplace Transition (UWT) & Mental Health and Wellbeing Passport (MHWP) Pilot Project, which supports new graduates with the transition from university to the workplace. Funded by the University of Manchester, Queen Mary University of London, Imperial College London, King's College London & London Metropolitan University, and supported by TASO (supporting evaluation), Student Minds, Thrive LDN & Good Thinking (London).

New graduates receive between 5-7 sessions, while implementing the MHWP which is a tool that helps ensure the right support is in place and the mental health and wellbeing needs of the new graduate are met in the workplace.

The first UWT mentoring session happened on 3rd July - officially marking the beginning of the project.

We are starting phase 2 in upcoming months which involves expanding the project to support more students and HEIs in the transition to the workplace. If you are interested, please click below to find out more, or email [email protected].

Ethnicity, Diversity & Culture Program

In both universities and workplaces, UMO provides programs for supporting students and employees from diverse backgrounds. We already have ongoing projects with partners such as Queen Mary University Of London, University College London and LSEG.

We match students and employees with a specialist coach of the same or similar ethnicities and support them through their time at university. We provide both group and 121 services.

We also have a Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean speaking service to match individuals with someone who shares their language. For more details, hit the link below for our website.
