Kicking Off Construction: SACE2 Ceremony in Saudi Arabia
HEC held a ceremony for the Jafurah Gas Processing Facility Project PKG2 (known as SACE2) in Saudi Arabia!
Starting with the installation of the first underground piping on November 30, the first column erection for the GIS building using the pre-cast method was completed. On December 23, the first module installation commenced, along with the start of the initial welding work in the pipe shop.
What makes this progress even more remarkable is that it all happened in less than a year since the project kicked off on 3rd January 2024. This incredible achievement is down to the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of everyone involved in SACE2.
During the ceremony, Aramco representatives shared their appreciation for the project’s progress so far and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to ensure its success.
A huge well done to everyone involved – this is a fantastic step forward, and we’re excited to see what’s next.
