With a heavy heart, I’m announcing that after 10 years of pouring my passion into building Nix & Kix, the brand is now transitioning to new ownership.
I recently found a mind map I created 10 years ago to help me decide what to do next. Looking back, I now realize how incredibly oversimplified that approach was. It shows how na?ve I was, but also how passion can carry you through. I gained so much more from this journey than I ever could have anticipated back then.
On 9th October 2024, Good Food Vibes BV—our trusted partner for over seven years—acquired the assets of Nix & Kix. This marks a new chapter for the brand, and I’m confident that Good Food Vibes, with its established distribution network across 4,000 locations, including Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and catering businesses, will continue to nurture and grow Nix & Kix, expanding its reach both in domestic and international markets.
In the UK, the brand has now been consolidated under Petty Wood & Co. Ltd. from 1st October, and they will manage distribution across key retailers like The Co-op, Ocado, and Tesco. Petty Wood’s enthusiasm for the brand gives me hope for its future, as they are committed to driving Nix & Kix to new heights.
A special thank you to John Stapleton , whose guidance and belief in Nix & Kix over the years has been invaluable. His support, as both a mentor and board member, has helped shape our journey, and I am deeply grateful for his unwavering commitment.
I will continue to support the brand and work closely with Good Food Vibes throughout the process. Nix & Kix Ltd | B Corp? has been more than a business—it’s been a journey of creating something meaningful alongside my co-founder Kerstin Robinson , our incredible team, and everyone who believed in us.
I found this picture from 7 years ago below. We were started around the same time as MOJU , Raylex Brands , virtue drinks , VIVID Drinks and it's fantastic to see so many still absolutely thriving and growing. The landscape in soft drinks was very different back then compared to today and I would argue that these brands were the original pioneers in trying something different and new.
Thank you to our investors, customers, and suppliers. I am deeply grateful for your unwavering support through all the highs and lows. Together, we’ve built something special that will carry on with the same passion we started with.
