Heaven's New Angel

A lovely girl
Petite and sweet
Pleasant to all that she would meet
A real heart of gold with a great sense of humour
Lots of friends and family loved her vibrant company
Her beauty was evident both inside and out
Like a rare diamond shining bright
Her parents so proud -holding her tight
But one night as she went to sleep
She never woke up
Such a tragedy
Leaving behind her family
This was evidently her time
No chance to say goodbye
She had only just had her high school prom
Looking stunning with her new dress on
Everyone will miss her in so many ways
A light from this world faded away
She's returned home and now in a better place
A precious flower no one can replace
The tears of sorry and pain is hard to endure
Many still ask why her?
The flame of love remaining in their hearts
Heaven has a new Angel now
Until they all meet again
Only time will tell
For now they have their treasured memories
That no one can take away
In their hearts for ever more is where she will stay xx
