We always recommend installing the Schluter-DITRA-HEAT-DUO uncoupling and waterproofing membrane with an integrated bonding fleece that provides sound control, as well as a thermal break. The sound control feature reduces impact sound transmission through floor-ceiling assemblies. The thermal break feature reduces heat loss to the substrate for up to 70% faster heat-up times. Combined with the Schluter-DITRA-HEAT-E-HK heating cable and connected to the Schluter-DITRA-HEAT-E-RT programmable touchscreen thermostat, we can create a warmer, more luxurious tile floor than ever before.
