It's the month of may, but it's so hot that people are struggling. Especially in the plains of India, the temperature has reached 50°C, while in the mountainous regions it has exceeded 35°C.With increasing heat, the risk of heat-related illnesses also increases rapidly. To keep the body cool in this scorching heat, I'll share some special tips with you:
Stay Hydrated
To avoid dehydration, drink at least 3 liters of water. Dehydration can make you susceptible to various illnesses. Water, fruit juices, and vegetables are all options to help you replenish the water in your body. During very hot weather, sports drinks, buttermilk, rice water, or electrolyte solutions help in hydrating the body.
Eat Light
To stay hydrated and cool, eat plenty of fruits like strawberries, oranges, cucumbers, and salads. This will ensure your body gets enough water.
Exercise Regularly
Before exercising, drink juices from fruits or vegetables 2 to 3 hours in advance. During exercise, aim to consume seven to ten ounces every 20 minutes. Rehydrate with eight ounces of water within 30 minutes after exercising.
Avoid these things that cause dehydration
Stay away from caffeinated or alcoholic beverages as they can exacerbate dehydration and heat fatigue.

Carry these items when going out
Keep cooling spray with you when going out. Additionally, closing curtains or blinds during the hottest part of the day can help keep the indoor environment cool.
Take care of children or animals when taking them out
Never leave children, elderly people, or pets in parked cars where temperatures can rise rapidly. Take a cold shower and wear light, breathable clothing when going out. Plan outdoor activities during the cooler parts of the day and avoid vigorous exercise in the heat.
Keep an eye on those most sensitive to heat-related illnesses, including elderly neighbors, children, individuals with medical conditions, and pets.
Signs of dehydration include dry mouth, dizziness, confusion, and headache. Seek medical help immediately if these symptoms appear. Be mindful to avoid dehydration during the hot months and keep the body well-hydrated.
