We are deeply saddened by the passing of Charles West, founder of Orcas Island Distillery, who passed away last week at his home on Orcas Island. Charles was a pioneer in the craft distilling community, and his legacy will continue through the distillery he built with passion. While production is paused, his family is committed to honoring his work by keeping the tasting room open and continuing distribution in Washington.
