The Heart of our Company

I hope everyone had a wonderful Environmental Services Appreciation week. HHS1 PC# 0289 in Chattanooga, TN Parkridge Medical Center celebrated our 2017 annual EVS Appreciation week. Our employees are more than just housekeepers, they are infection control specialists on the front line helping to reduce HAI's.

We understand that hospitals don't heal people. People do. We love keeping our humble hero's engaged and truly embracing the culture of our company. We have started a movement of love and trust and it is spreading like wildfire. Like so many others, we have spoiled our staff with catered meals and a great movie night to bring us all together. Their week-long celebration winded down with a game day.

We prepared hours of fun activities and games to test their competitive drive and team building abilities. We have never laughed so hard as we did together this week. Our appreciation for our staff won't stop for the end of the week. We will continue to keep our staff engaged throughout the year and helping them understand their place in the infection control community. EVS has been a force to be reckoned with and we are stealing the hearts of our healthcare community.

We have found that as the speed of trust rises, our employee's engagement also rises. This engagement needle helps us drive safety, performance metrics and overall satisfaction. We were honored to serve the front line employees whose mission is to give every patient a personalized patient experience.
