Heart Shattering Story

I feel so despaired and disheartened to share this story with my fellow Americans that has been shared by a friend of mine an African American from Houston Texas, an old person like myself, I know this person for years, a great humankind who earns his every penny by his sweat. He told me that a month ago his dad died because of heart failure because of age related disease, and they had no money to lay him in peace. His dead body remained in the church for more than a week, because my friend and his family had no funds to arrange his burial. Finally, when his God-fearing neighbors came to know they accumulated sufficient funds with meager small donations from multitude of people and buried his dad’s decaying body. May the Lord Almighty provide the best place in paradise as reward for his pain and afflictions due to lacks in our so-called great country and State of Texas. Whereas our elected official has no clue of the suffering and pains our older people have been going through, they have been living luxuriously with great income and donated money caring the people who put in office or elected them. Today, I paid my property Tax to the Tax collector of Fort Bend County Texas, I called the Tax office at Richmond Texas they just to ask a question how to file my house Taxes online, they kept me hold for more than half hour finally via robotic recording asked me to leave my phone number and they shall return my phone call, they never did.

I believe as rock-bottom American taking such thousands of dollars property Tax from millions of older Americans like myself is indubitably cruel, because almost all of us in this advance age have not enough meeting our both ends meets. I am so scared that sooner many of us shall go to six feet deep and I am certain that many of us shall not have enough money to pay our burial expenses and our dead bodies shall be laying on the street to be eaten by stray dogs. My heartfelt request to our so-called great Governor Mr. Gregory Wayne Abbott to exonerate the Senior Citizens of State of Texas from property Tax, so that they or we could go to six feet deep with sigh of relief. If you do that Sir, your name shall be written with golden letters in the history of Texas and with the millions of prayers you shall be re-elected in 2022. Additionally, I hope our two Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn take a serious notice and persuade the Governor Mr. Abbott to do this most needed task with the highest priority.
