Friends:

I have been blessed with a great network all my life. Thank God because I was not a good student, athlete or musician. I have used what I learned from my father to create 10 startups over the last 45+ years. Some were quite successful and one went bankrupt. None of the successes or the failures were fatal, because I saw my dad go through the same ups and downs over his life. I also learned a great deal from Dad about social justice and any of you who have read my book, heard me speak or follow me on social media already know those stories.

I have had the privilege of sharing my ideas and principles for the last 17 or 18 years for my dear friend, Jay Litton and the Amazing RUMC Job Networking Group. Next Monday, 9/28/2020, I will do it LIVE on ZOOM. Over the years, many folks have asked me to let them know when I would be in their city because they wanted to hear my presentation. I have given it many times across the country but always for an association, a not for profit or a corporation and the events are not open to the public.

Due to Covid-19, RUMC is meeting virtually on Zoom. I am normally a walk the platform, audience eye contact, lots of gestures with my arms and body type speaker. I am more nervous about this speech than any presentation in decades. The best part for me is that if you do not like it, you can end your stream which is much better than me dodging bottles and cans thrown by those who have been in the audience in the past. :-) If you don't thoroughly enjoy and learn something new, I will personally send you a refund of double what you paid to attend. :-)

All joking aside, I would be honored to have you join us next Monday the 28th at 5:00pm. Based on past comments over the last 25+ years, you will walk away with a few nuggets of truth which will be helpful in both your career and your life.
