Harnessing Emotional Intelligence: A Guide to Managing Anxiety

Anxiety is a common and often debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide. While it may seem overwhelming at times, developing emotional intelligence (EI) skills can be a powerful tool for managing and mitigating anxiety. Investing in EI is essential for academic success, career growth, and personal happiness. Let's continue to empower our students to thrive in all aspects of life!

Parental Well-Being in Old Age!

Today, we're talking about senior citizens who sometimes struggle to adjust to the younger generation. This happens because many seniors don't feel great about themselves and might not like their personalities. As people get older, they might feel less happy and excited about new things. They face challenges like fear of death, financial issues, feeling down, and not having much energy or appetite. These things can make them irritated and distant from younger people. It can even lead to serious issues like dementia or depression.

EI Certification for College Students

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is an essential skill for Generation Z. This generation, being the first to grow up with smartphones and social media, has unparalleled exposure, which has proven detrimental to their mental health, leading to issues like burnout.

Gen Z is more cautious and less tolerant of risk than older generations. However, they face higher rates of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress. Growing up with constant mobile use and experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic during their formative years has left many struggling to express their feelings and deal with loneliness and anxiety.

Given these challenges, Gen Z must develop strong emotional intelligence to navigate both their professional and personal lives effectively. Studies indicate that 75% of managers find working with Gen Z difficult and prefer millennials. Additionally, their relationships tend to be less stable compared to previous generations. The EI course aims to address these issues by helping students become more self-aware, empathetic, motivated, socially aware, and better at decision-making.

Club Smilee

We've seen participants leave our sessions feeling lighter and often expressing that these meet-ups should happen more frequently and in more places. People usually arrive with bottled-up emotions and vent their feelings, leaving with a relaxed mind and a happy heart. This is the power of our Club Smilee meet-ups. Each month, we focus on a new topic in our interactive, activity-based workshops, allowing everyone to relate to real-life situations.

If you also want to be a part of our community, join us or invite us to conduct a group session for at least 20 participants.
