The Heart of a Hero

I invite you to join us this February to share your Heart of a Hero and support Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley though the Sweetheart Ball or Giving Hearts Day.

These 2 fundraising events are vital in continuing our mission to keep families together during times of medical crisis for their children. When parents find out their child is critically-ill in a city far from home, they are scared, unsure and in need of support. That is where we come in. Through our Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs, families are able to find a place to rest their weary head, find nourishment for their long journey, and find support from staff, volunteers and other families going through similar stresses. In 2021, we were able to support 794 families largely due to funds raised through the Sweetheart Ball and Giving Hearts Day.

Over the next few weeks and live the night of the Sweetheart Ball, you will hear from the Nelson family and their medical journey over the past 3+ years. You can see the direct impact your donation makes through their story.

When you support our Sweetheart Ball or make a donation on Giving Hearts Day, you are supporting the families of 2022 who will stay with us at our Ronald McDonald House or use our Ronald McDonald Family Room. You are ensuring more families are blown away by generosity just like the Nelson family.
