Aloha Eudaimons,
Happy New Year to you all! ??
I am sure we were all busy exchanging wishes for the new year with our loved ones.
In amidst of all of this, a client asked me: "What would you like me to wish you"?
And this was so lovely! He did not assume... and this allowed me the time to think.
The space to genuinely connect with my desires!
I took 3 deep breaths and closed my eyes... and waited for a few seconds.
And then I knew... I responded back saying: You can wish me: Divine Guidance, Beautiful Synchronicity and Aligned Abundance. ?
He laughed! I asked him what he wanted me to wish him:
He typed back promptly: Health, Discipline and Risk taking! ??
Boom! 2025 will be a Massive Year for him. ??
What do you genuinely want for 2025?
Hit the reply button and let me know. I will then wish it back to you. ??
Lots of love,
Christina of Eudaimonia

Every company NEEDS a culture of appreciation—a workplace environment where RECOGNITION is part of everyday life, not just reserved for annual reviews or special occasions.?
Why Appreciation Matters ??
??Boosts Retention: Employees who feel VALUED are more likely to STAY.
??Drives Productivity: Happy, appreciated teams perform BETTER.
??Fosters Purpose: People want more than a paycheck—they crave MEANING and CONNECTION.
How to Build a Culture of Appreciation ??
??Celebrate Small Wins - Recognize progress, not just big achievements.
??Act on Feedback - Show employees that their opinions matter by implementing their suggestions.
??Personalize Acknowledgment - Tailor recognition to individual preferences—some may prefer public praise, others a private note.
??Encourage Peer Recognition - Foster an environment where team members uplift one another.
??Hold Team Celebrations - Celebrate collective achievements to reinforce a sense of unity.
??Reward Effort, Not Just Results - Recognize the dedication and hard work, even if goals aren't fully met.
??Celebrate Personal Moments - Recognize birthdays, work anniversaries, or personal milestones.
??Lead by Example - Managers and leaders should actively practice appreciation to set the tone for the team.
A culture of appreciation isn’t just a “nice-to-have”, it’s essential for building a THRIVING workplace. It does not only boost morale but also drives engagement and success. ?
Why not start today? ?? Appreciation costs little but delivers immense returns.??

STRENGTH is not the TOUGHNESS we have DEVELOPED, but the SOFTNESS we have DEFENDED.?? - Christina Garidi
"Although he met his wife when he was 13, he didn't marry her until he was 31. They were still children and attended the same school when he jokingly married her. Eighteen years later he seriously proposed to her. From this love, two sons were born.
While he was writing his book “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” they were completely penniless. At one point he even sold his car so he could devote himself full-time to writing.
She supported and encouraged him to continue writing. After 18 months the book was finished, but Márquez had no money to send a copy to the publisher.
Mercedes then sold almost everything in the house, even her hairdryer, to cover the costs of shipping the manuscript. Completely penniless, they awaited the result of everything they had invested in.
The book was an immediate success, and Márquez received numerous awards, including the Nobel Prize for his body of work."

Leaders, it's time to STOP deferring difficult decisions. ?? Avoiding difficult decisions DOES NOT eliminate them; instead, it increases the PRESSURE on your team and often worsens the problem. Leadership requires going into discomfort and providing CLARITY, whether it's dealing with underperformance, restructuring, or letting someone leave. ??
Tough decisions affect the FUTURE of your team and organisation. ?? Prioritise the larger picture, COMMUNICATE openly, act rapidly but WISELY, and maintain full ACCOUNTABILITY. ?? Successful leadership involves facing obstacles with courage and purpose, rather than avoiding them.
What is the most difficult DECISION you've made as a leader, and how did it help you GROW? Let us reflect and share.??
Thanks for sharing this, Eric Partaker ??
