The Heart of A Champion

As a fan of the NBA, I have been amazed at the heart and determination of the 2015/2016 Golden State Warriors team. This is a team that has the best record in NBA history at 73 wins and 9 losses, but has been struggling somewhat in the playoffs with an 11-5 record, still good, but not great, and last night where in a must win situation.
The game last night against the Oklahoma City Thunder showed the world that the Golden State Warriors have the heart and determination to be champions again. With the Thunder up 5 points with a little over 5 minutes left in the game, the Warriors found a 5th gear and started to will their way to victory. Every player on that team decided right then and there, that they are going to win and nothing was going to stand in their way.
The last 5 minutes of that game was not won on skill alone, it was won on the backs of the Warriors players who did not want to waste the best season in NBA history and go home. This group of men, willed their way to victory and won despite playing a formidable opponent in the Oklahoma City Thunder.
What the Golden State Warriors showed last night is that when your back is against the wall and you believe in yourself, you can achieve what you want. You must truly want it and do whatever it takes to achieve it. Having skill alone will not get it done, what gets it done is desire, heart and a determination that is unbreakable.
