According to the East End Wine Country Highlights: Vineyards & Wineries column in the 07/15/2015 {stet} edition of Dan's Papers:
"The Shinn Estate Vineyards owners Barbara Shinn and David Page set out to reconnect with nature when in 1998 they purchased the historic Tuthill homestead on Oregon Road in Mattituck. I recently learned that there is an Oregon Road Organics Farm in Cutchogue.
Here's my finding from The Brooklyn Daily Eagle dated 12 Jan 1919, Sun {meaning Sunday} Page 57:

I was curious to learn more ABout Oregon Road in Cutchogue so I researched a suffolkhistoricnewspapers site finding 57 clippings by using "Oregon Road Cutchogue" in the Search section then January 01 1600 to August 31, 2023 as the selected chosen dates:

The Long Island Traveler Mattituck Watchman dated October 23, 1969:
“Miss Mary Ruther, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred William Ruther of 19 Nevada Place, Bronxville, New York, became the bride of David Mysliborski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore David Mysliborski of 170 Oregon Road, Cutchogue, New York, on Sunday, August 17, 1969….”
The January 24, 1974 The Long Island Traveler Mattituck Watchman {*note the texting of the use of periods -(&)- commas -{!}-}
????“Jeanette Ficner, daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter Ficner of Oregon Road, Cutchogue, became the bride of Robert E. Sayre, Jr. son of Mr and Mrs Robert E. Sayre, Sr., Southold on October 21 in a double ring ceremony performed by Father John Cwalina, pastor in Our Lady of Ostrabrama Church…. {stet}”
According to The Long Island Traveler dated September 02, 1976 {stet} the Southold Town had met -{&}- as the headline has it: “Southold Wetlands Approved”

I learned the origin layout of Cutchogue's Oregon Road from at-the-time SENIOR EDITOR STEVE WICK of The Suffolk Times' May 4, 2023 cover story { YES ~ That means it's covered on page one YET continues on page 15 } titled "Future farmers wanted Peconic Land Trust to sell Oregon Road parcels comprising 135 acres {four parcels}."
Running east-to-west -{&}- parallel to Long Island Sound, Oregon Road runs from Mattituck to Bridge Lane in Cutchogue. Oregon Road in Cutchogue has beauty stemming vistas that are wide-open, has fertile soil, and rich farming history. Second- -{&}- third- generations of Irish -{&}- Polish families called Oregon Road, Cutchogue, home, who cultivated potatoes, cauliflower and strawberries.
-{*}- Peconic Land Trust has helped conserve more than 14,000 acres since its finding in 1983. Rights For Proposal (RFP) were discussed w/ Southold Town Board "from Depot Lane on the east, to Alvahs Lane on the west{,} and Oregon Road on the north."

Oregon Road and Bridge Lane from Mattituck to Cutchogue is one of the prettiest back-country drives that will take you 4.3 miles along "the route dotted with beautiful farmland, vineyards, nurseries and private residences." Beginning at the intersection with Mill Road traveling west to east Shinn Estate Vineyards, the first of two vineyards that call Oregon Road home, you will see. Then you will pass "a series of pretty Victorian homes, classic farmhouses on either side, Lieb Cellars and Zuhoski Farms. Oregon Road ends in Cutchogue, where it turns right onto Bridge Lane. ..."
