Healthy and Efficient Retrofitted Buildings

It’s great to finally be able to share our report summarising a year’s worth of work and research on two key tools that support cities with building retrofit programmes.?

• Urban Vulnerability Mapping Guidelines aims to guide cities to holistically assess a wide range of factors relating to buildings and the built environment to aid the prioritisation of buildings and neighbourhoods in retrofit programmes to assist vulnerable groups and reduce climate risks.?
• Healthy and Efficient Retrofitted Buildings (HERB) toolkit enables an evidence-based approach to identifying the most impactful retrofit measures for health, alongside wider socio-economic and environmental benefits.

Cities can review whether their building retrofit programmes meaningfully address the health and wellbeing of their residents.
